he was, but I've heard he'e left after only 6 months due to being unable to get the others he worked with to understand the retail side of things and how to make a profit running it as a retail chain as opposed to a 'health centre'..I've no facts to prove this info just hearsay from people I know who work for them.....mind you Woolies didn't work!

Going on what is being said about them on this forum then the only good thing that I can think of is that you will only have to work for them for a year!

Sorry, I'm going to sound a little thick here. Could you elaborate on this? Does this mean he was trying to take them in the direction of the supermarkets i.e. using pharmacy to increase footfall for retail sales as opposed to the other way around?

To be honest guys. I dont think its all his fault and everything he did is wrong. Area managers in Lloyds are at the moment hopeless. They are playing at the moment on the edge of bullying. I didnt become a pharmacist to get bullied by a dumb are manager, who sits all day on the computer just checking the number and sending emails around, their tone is absolutely aggressive and unappreciated.
Honestly I will probably leave the company very soon, I just think of taking a legal action against that, for the sake of the rest and not to give them the impression they can keep doing it that way. Somewhere is a stop and I think slowly but sure pharmacists in Lloyds need to get together and put the limits, otherwise its an endless bullying story
