Perhaps you were working for Jardines Looks as if sold up down South and retreated North.
Suggest you contact local pharmacies first.

hi no was called oaks. anyway i have rang the pharmacy nearby me like within 10mile radius most have said no to free worker, or student. No space or no time. some said ring head office for lloyds did they say its up to pharmacy itself. tesco said no, sainsburys no, co-op no, boots no, independent pharmacies some have said not at moment no space, or too many staff, no time, some have said maybe later contact again, some asked c.v but never got back, some have interviewed me and not returned a verdict. Its such such a head ache i keep thinking if its even worth it all why not call it a day and quit, then i think i wasted my time and money so should complete as out come will be good. why arent pharmacies saying yea i mean its a free worker they dont have to pay me all i require is experience and working in the pharmacy. anyone know any pharmacy do let me know who will take a free worker. thanks

Ah yes seem to remember one in Luton. Sign of the times that no one wants even a free worker. I regret have no solution. however, do try the local hospitals/hospice.

Why not mention this to the Government and see if they really understand the problems and do some constructive thing to help people than just focusing on cuts. It's not the fault of any employer, unfortunately if they have no funds they can't employ. and unpaid long term employment is a crime and a pharmacy cannot some-one work on a long term basis on a voluntary basis without any contract which involves payments. See, there is a long chain here. Feel sorry for you but keep trying, you may find some place soon.
