    Tennis and pharma sponsoring...

    Hello all,

Just discovered this forum yesterday so thought I'd join.

I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but in Roger Federer's second round match at Wimbledon the other day, his opponent (I think it was Adrian Mannarino) had an Actavis label on his T-Shirt sleeve, indicating sponsorship by Actavis.

Are pharmaceutical companies allowed to sponsor sports/players?

I have no idea but I for one would pay good money to see some of the Olympic swimmers with 'Anusol HC' stamped on their trunks.
