Some pharmacies do not allow mobile phones in dispensary.
    Not even switched off.

    Must be like on aircraft?
Where it could send the EPOS system haywire?
    Trigger the fire sprinklers?

Macromedex Drug Information is a brilliant one. It's basically a free BNF. Has all your drug names, dosages, mechanisms of actions, contraindications etc http://www.downloadcheapapp.com/iapp...reenshot-4.jpg

The Lloyds App doesn't tell you anything. It's just a questionaire about your lifestyle habits like drinking, smoking, exercise, ethnicity etc. It then assesses your risk factor for diabetes but doesn't give you the results. It asks you to fill in your name postcode and phone number, at which point I deleted the app. I presume high risk factors will get flagged up and refered to their local Lloyds pharmacy increasing footflow for diabetes check ups
