Buying Emla OTC for tattoo's??

Does anyone sell this OTC for use before having a Tatoo?

We're getting increasing requests to buy it to numb skin up before a tatoo.

Any thoughts?

Very popular and a legitimate use. As vanquish and sir-dispensalot point out, bepanthen and Prep H are also used before and after 'treatment'. Once a tattooist knows you sell it, they will direct clients to you.

Actually. I did hear somebody saying its not licensed for use with tatoos and therefore one pharmacy did not sell it when they new its for a tatoo! What do u think?

My opinions is thats just a tad sad lol. Preparation H is apparently very good for bags under ladies eyes as well, as a cosmetic product

Conclusions: It's within its licence (which only mentions puncture of the skin) and, yes, they would sell it (assuming no contra-indications). There was also sympathy for your point Web Ferret.
