    stockings

    Heya!
    I am new to the forum and new to the role of a UK comminuty pharmacist. I got my degree from abroad so the legal/administrative issues of England are still a problem for me. As obvious as it might be to you i just dont know. Can I dispense a different brand of stockings to what was prescribed? (same size/class etc) Or is it same as with branded medicince? you can only dispense whats on the prescription.

    It is the same I'm afraid. If it states a brand......then you can only dispense that brand.
