    lump on eyeball

ok so i know its hard to diagnose like this but a bit worried. my eye is a bit blood shot and it looks like there is a white lump on it. my partner describes it as tissue...

just wondering what I should do? not painful, no gunk. but i can't wear my contact lenses as this is causing irritation and making it hurt.

shall i try chloramphenicol or some golden eye drops or something?

    regards

I would ask your local pharmacist to have a look, and go through the possibilities. I think that it is very probable that it is nothing to worry about, that chloramphenicol is worth using (2 hourly etc etc) and that I would make an appt on monday with the GP. You will probably be able to cancel the appt before it comes around.
    ....just my opinion

maybe go to your opticians? doubt chlomphenicol would do anything....doesn't sound like you have conjuctivitis...there are probably more suitably placed healthcare professionals other than pharmacists that could help you out!

showed a pharmacist and they gave me chloramphenicol, if that doesn't work will pop along to docs or opticians
