doctor dispensing and co-op
Hi
I have heard recently that a local village dispensing doctor uses the local co-op as a collection point for dispensed medication... I will try to find out if this is true... If so surely this must break many rules... qualified staff, patient confidentiality, safe storage , information governance etc etc etc.. or is this just another legal loophole for them... Any ideas how I can check whether they are allowed to do this with and who may want to know i.e the pct? Or anyone else come across a similar situation...
I may have been a little more understanding if they were in a remote location miles from anywhere... but a very large city is 6/7 miles away.!!!

Village Post Offices have been used before.
