Summer placement Interview --- needs help plzz

I am a 2nd yr pharm student and I have never had any interviews in any hospitals before. I am lucky enough to have a chance for an interview in sunderland hospital next monday and I just wonder if anyone can give me some guidance as in what will be asked and what I shall prepare for the interview? I also wonder if anyone is working in sunderland royal hospital so that I can have a chat with to get more information about the hospital.

Thx johnep I searched and read a few threads... however, there is no post specific for hospital summer placement interview... most of them are prereg or pharmacist interview. I would like to have some more elaborate comments and support on my specific topic. Thx

Well, for a Summer placement they are unlikely to ask too many searching questions. Be smart. Tell them about where you have reached in the course and that you hope to work in a hospital for your pre reg. These days, very difficult to get a position if not already worked on a Summer placement as competition for pre reg places intense and will get worse. Tell them you are willing and able and flexible re time. factors that will also help: living in Sunderland, at Sunderland SOP, already done a job of some kind. (I had been a paper boy)

Thanks Nik, its very kind of you to dig out that thread!!! I had a read and the question "what can you bring to our hospital?" seems tough!! Anyone has any idea on how to answer this question? Thx =)

that sort of question basically a chance for you to shine and talk utter rubbish and tell them the stuff they want to hear!!! maybe you could bring professionalism, luaghter, fun, determination, team work, responsibilility, trust.....

Thx for bringing up the idea crit care!! I was told the interview only takes 20mins and I wonder what I will be asked on. =)
