I have a pre-reg with Rowlands Pharmacy starting later this year. I just wanted ask if Rowlands is a good company to work for? Also, do they expect pre-reg's to wear a uniform?

I think Rowlands are the best of all the big pharmacy multiples to work for, although I don't know about asda.
....just my opinion
What makes you say that? Just out of curiosity - I've worked for boots - that was an absolute nightmare from day 1! lol. Really really worried about Rowlands being the same.
I've only worked in one Rowlands store which I would describe as a nightmare. I've lost count of the number of Boots stores I would put in this category. Rowlands staff are better trained and things just operate the way they should do (PCS for example.)
I see full time positions in Britain as a swinging door nowadays due to the commercial pressures involved, and that's why I choose to locum instead. If you have any sense, you'll do the same.

”We are real. We are not glam sh*t or anything else. We are Guns N’ Roses.”
Go on, he/she has a secret desire to strut their stuff in German Officer uniform, beating junior staff with a little cane.

LOL. I'd prefer not to wear a uniform if poss...I just think its a bit patronising to expect professionals, and future professionals to wear a uniform...surely we can dress outselves appropriately?
Wearing a uniform can help you avoid the hassle in your prereg year. Not standing out has something to commend it.
It also draws a line with the regular staff when you register and assume responsibility. The relationship is easier to change.
