Thumbs up RPS getting its act together (for once)

For once the RPS was on the case quickly and effectively defending us against harsh criticism from the medical profession in the media over the current flu debacle.

See here: http://groups.rpharms.com/_forum/for...ays-leading-gp (you'll need to sign in for this one)

and here: 'Worried well' should be banned from having flu jab says leading GP - Telegraph (note the comments from members of the public!)

and here: Royal Pharmaceutical Society | Provision of flu vaccinations (see the BBC video in this)

and here: Pharmacy fends off RCGP attack on flu vaccination service (Updated) | PJ Online (especially see the final bit where the RCGP backs down).

Excellent. I look forward to reading what they have to say about the DuH nicotine replacement therapy affair, too.

Fortunately, between the GP's, the dispensing doctors, the DoH, big pharma and the non-pharmacist employers all mouthing off and getting it badly and stupidly wrong, there is enough stuff around to keep us firmly in the public eye for ever.
    ....just my opinion
