    Personal Statement Structure

I wanted to apply for pharmacy school, but then at the same time I also wanted to apply for law school through UCAS. Since UCAS only takes one personal statement, I wanted to know how I can make my personal statement which will still get me a good chance in getting into both pharmacy school and law school and then decide from there which I want to chose? Also, does anyone know if during the admission process, they consider personal statements to be very important in their selection? Thanks!

Personal statement is very important - it's what uni's base their decision on of whether to invite a candidate to interview. I've seen some people in the past successfully get offered medicine/dentistry when they also applied for pharmacy, but I've not heard of anyone who managed to get 2 offers in distinct subjects such as law and pharmacy. The personal statement is meant to be individualised to the particular degree you're applying for.

agree with above, the personal statement gets you the interview..

Applying for both pharmacy and law, may eb risky..they won't see you as being committed to pharmacy, something i got told when i applied for pharmacy and pharmacology! similar subjects but still got questioned over in interviews.

tricky as to how to write a personal statement for 2 different degrees.....

Ya that is true...but since I am a foreign student I won't have to attend any interviews. But then again I am still debating if I should fix up my personal statement by maybe not saying that I have chosen pharmacy as a career and just talk about my previous volunteer and work experience?

Pharmacy & Healthcare Regulation*- Debenhams Ottaway*Solicitors - St Albans, Radlett, Hertfordshire
This should be a link to a specialist pharmacy law firm.

So then it will be easier for uni's to dismiss your application without wasting time fixing up and interview. There's no reason why you can't get a job mixing both skill sets but it may be better applying to just one course. However ultimately it's your decision if you feel you can get successful offers.
