Best resource for finding volume and value of Items dispensed?

Hi, I am a pharmacy contractor from Ireland and I would like some help please.

Our PCRS (Primary Care Reimbursement Services) pay us for certain prescription items, they release an annual report. In it, there is a lot of information regarding payments to pharmacy, number of Items, total costs, co-payments and number of eligible persons etc etc, the whole shooting match.
I am interested in comparing and contrasting the different markets.
Our government is intent on introducing a reference pricing and generic substitution system.

Forewarned being forarmed! I am here asking for help.

I have had a quick look at the ppa.org.uk website which bounced to the NHS business Services Authority and I found some information, a bit light on detail.

Where would I find a similar comphrensive report for the UK, or constituent part, where I could extract information like, items per pharmacy per year, average cost per item, average income per pharmacy (per item), generics penetration etc etc

    All help gratefuly received!

I would recommend looking at the PSNC website.

The NHS prescription Services website has a number of reports which might be useful, not sure if they are as detailed as yours. Prescription Services Reports NHS Business Services Authority

Thank you, I have been gathering a few bits of information here and there.
What I need would be the total cost of medicines, number of Items, number of pharmacies, and fees and allowances paid to pharmacy for a defined area and period.

Our PCRS publishes all that and more annually, effectively it is used as a pr weapon against pharmacy in Ireland.

Thanks again, all help gratefully received!
