How often have you had a pt saying 'I have been to all the other pharmacies in the area, have you got this 'urgent' item in stock?'
Ie you are the last in their list of pharmacies. When this happened to me and we did have the item, I handed to the pt with the comment 'there is a price to pay' OH!. Yes, the price is that you should promise to come here first in future. This resulted in our gaining several regular customers.
