Have now had the 'Actonel' problem!!
Rang to arrange a direct delivery and was told that i have to wait 3 working days from initial point of contact (i.e. today) , then i have to phone back and they may arrange a supply!! I asked to speak to someone up the chain but was told they don't speak to individual pharmacists! They won't even give me the reps number.
Phoenix don't expect any until next Monday and Alliance are the same!!
Don't suppose anyone has a reps number?????????

I spent an hour trying to get to speak to someone higher up the chain a couple of weeks ago. Got the first person's line manager but he couldn't do anything and couldn't/wouldn't put me through to anyone who could actually help. I asked who I should write to with an official complaint and got a department name - was told they couldn't give me the name of a person in case I was an animal rights activist. Presumably any reply I get will be anonymous!

Phone up this crowd and ask how much to buy the actonel back again...
Procter & Gamble aren't likely to be interested in helping you - they are currently in the process of selling their entire prescription drugs business to an Irish company called Warner Chilcott. Asacol, Actonel etc. will all be transferred.

On the bright side, missing the odd dose of Actonel is not clinically important. I'd just wait until Monday to be honest.
