A customer accidentally applied eucerin 20% omega shower theraphy onto my hair by accident and massaged it in. He quickly realised and washed it off and then applied the eucerin.
Is there any potential harm?

I guess they don't teach cosmetic formulations in the pharmacy degree in the UK but think about the difference between a shampoo and a shower gel: not much, mostly pH. Eucerin apparently contains urea, which if I recall correctly is a metabolic waste product with raised levels in kidney failure, I don't recall hair loss in renal failure.
I fail to understand how a waste product of the body applied externally can be of any benefit please enlighten me.

Well maid's water was supposed to be good for chilblains.
Urea is a hydrating agent and often present in perspiration anyway.
Harmless at concentration used.

Urea as a rehydrating agent pH neutral is used in dermatological preparations. When I was a pre-reg I used to make up all manner of ointments and creams containing it for a dermatology clinic.
What is wrong with being bald? I am and I always put it down to having an exceptionally well developed libido...............?
Sorry lads, but I made exactly the same mistake 6 months ago, and all my hair fell out within a week. It eventually grew back, but now it's all grey and wiry.
To clarify...that was just my body hair...I have one small tuft of my original hair left on the top of my head. I usually wear hats now.
