Mate, as long as you're away from home and at a big city uni, you;ll be fine. XXXX notts and their snobbiness, it's just a standard degree that they want to attach some sort of prestige to despite someone eing able to acquire the same degree from the likes of wolves, sunderland and God knows whichever other polytechnic. Not keen on equal forum members dictating what they do and do not like, in an open forum...there is no swear word filter afterall, so this is no left wing, PC thing. Forgot, professionals aren't 'allowed' to swear We're not at work now afterall either

Ok, simply put, if I censor words ALL words that contain them are censored so I trust it to everyone to read the terms and conditions and be polite on here. Please do not swear - it is unprofessional and upsets people.

I am not left wing and have never been accused of being "PC". I am posting this long after I finished work and I like to think I am a professional. Don't use the "f" word Zak. It still causes offence. That is after all the reason you used it |

I am proud to have graduated from LJMU in 1998. I went to look at Manchester, Leicester, Bath, Nottingham and Bradford before LJMU. OK, when I was there some of the facilities weren't bang up to date but the funding that was consequently pumped in to develop Aldham and Aldwyn LRC's was fantastic. I go back to Liverpool often and I have many friends there. My memories of Liverpool are nothing but fantastic. I lived in Toxteth, Kenisngton and Wavertree and never had an ounce of trouble. My advice goes to anyone considering the city...the staff were excellent, the city phenomenal (especially since they got CoC 2008) and the people friendly and full of life! If only my wife would consider a move back....! Say hi to Ian Cubbin for me! |
