no you are wrong. independant take between 10-30, depending on their needs. they only take few pre-regs to train them and give them jobs as " relief" so they stop hiring locums.
multiples give 100s of pre-reg because they save money by doing so :P
example: multiple with 1600 chain, might take 200 pre-reg, to save millions of money' gov pay 16 000 pound to pharmacies/ pre-reg. this means multiples can sack a technician and replace him with FREE pre-reg lol this means rather than paying a technician 15000/year, they get a free pre-reg each year, offer 1-2000 pounds for pharmacist who train them, by doing so they save 200x 10 000" at least" = 2 million pound saving for the above example
it's true, they think about it this way :P
