    EPS Release 2 Deployment Map

Here's a great interactive map to see how EPS2 ready systems are rolling out for GPs and Pharmacists.

A great way to see what your competitors err sorry I mean colleagues' status are.

Instructions here, simple red amber green.

Check your pharmacies details are correct here

Find health services in your area - NHS Choices

as this is where the data comes from.

And remember your pharmacies details from the NHS choices website are what the surgery will use for nomination for EPS2 so if your surgery's receptionist can't find your pharmacy then expect your scripts to be nominated to the surgeries choice...

Re: EPS Release 2 Deployment Map

I remember working my first Christmas as a know it all newly qualified (after 5 months in the job) wondering why first boss (independant owner 4 shops) went to the cash and carry at Christmas to buy 20 bottles of whisky and 20 large boxes of chocolates and then spent a day delivering them personally to the local GPs and reception staff.

I thought he was mad spending £500 on Christmas presents for the GPs and surgeries who couldn't get simple scripts correct.

We have been told no chocolates or biscuits to any of our surgeries or care homes - some rubbish about "bribery act" roughly translated to cost cutting.

As a general rule anybody that can be bribed with a box of chocolates isn't worth bribing.
A bottle of whiskey may be a different matter...
