I plain refuse to buy the over-priced, over designed, over simplified, under whelming tat that Mr Jobs knocks out to the easy impressed and non-techno-capable..... so I have a Desire. And a PC. (Which I built myself. Again.)

Hi
I have the Nokia N8 and it's a fantastic phone for my needs, but why don't you have a look on YouTube? A lot of people do reviews of new phones etc on there.

In terms of apps that a pharmacist would be interested in were mainly talking about drug encycopedia's e.g. Lexi-drugs (paid), epocrates (free and paid version), medscape (free). These are availble for both iPhone and android phones.
Other useful apps are available for both e.g. apps for using PDF documents, microsoft documents, metric to imperial conversion apps.
Go Blackberry
I love it.
I am leaning towards android after much investigation although i might swing to iphone depending on the cost, because for me 'the price to use ratio' always dictates my final choice so which ever one i can get the cheapest will get my support![]()
Well thanks to all of this talk of smart phones, I'm now the proud owner of a HTC Desire S, and I'm putting the blame squarely on you guysI've been thinking about upgrading it for a little while now, and last night I noticed one that had been reduced. Ordered last night, came about an hour ago! Don't suppose anybody wants to buy a good as new Desire? lol
Lol in my quest to purchase a smart phone I have managed to entice others! Now you can let me know what that phone is like because I have to wait until end of september/october to get my phone so i can make an informed decision!

The Desire S is wonderful! I thought that my old Desire was good but the new one is faster at downloading things from the internet. i love the new buttonless look and the smaller size and the fact that it is light. Even the screen seems better. Music sounds great on it as well. Gosh! I should be paid for advertising it! Oh! and I've even sold my old phone already on Amazon! Life's good.
Only iphone can run the BNF, though I have MIMS on android.
One that makes calls and texts. One only requires a paper diary for scheduling. Computers are for the internet, not some 1" x 1" screen that you are straining your eyes over!
