    Is this forum ok, the version number at the bottom is different to the one mentioned in the article, but just want to be sure?????

    Yes, we are using version 4, which is difficult enough to use even with mods permissions lol (although it gets better as time goes on), although quite a few sites are still using the version 3 forums, moneysavingexpert.com being a huge one, but fortunately they are still using 3.8.4
    ....just my opinion
