help - i can't do my invoice

Help

To print one of my locum invoices, I usually alter an old one then save. Today, I can't seem to change an old one at all and message comes up saying "this modification is not allowed because the selection is blocked"

What do I do???

Are you using office word 2003 or 2007? Sounds like a trial version of the software may have expired.

Perhaps invest in Sage Instant Accounts or one of the free progs of the net.

Is the document protected look under tools (I think) and unprotect if it is, may require a password, otherwise just try an older document if you have one around.

Someone once said to me 'try setting the system date to a time when it last worked'.
I said that it was probably outside the license terms.

If they have reinstalled the software you will have to reactivate it with the original license key. If you don't have a licemnse key you could use WordPad to do the simple documents you are needing.
Alternatively try Openoffice which is open source
