    Just FYI Gaviscon Advance Chewable Tabs are appearing as "withdrawn" and not prescribable on half of the GPs computers in the UK (emis ones)

    They aren't withdrawn its just a technical issue that makes it appear as not prescribable

    So if you get any enquiries thats the reason.
    GPs can still prescribe by making it available again on their systems.
    Something to with Reckitts changing their distributor but no change to the product or availabililty.

    This has been fixed on an update for the majority of GPs but a handful (including some in Scotland) are still showing gaviscon as withdrawn.
