well that was a waste of time....
Although I was the first one to bring out an ecdr onto the uk market i got 'eaten by the big sharks' I think. in that a few month after I did so another company released one which was more glammed up and obviosly was better funded and backed.

Proscript are, i think, developing an ecdr into their PMR software. Which, I think, will be more useful than a stand alone program. Sorry!

I too have racked my brains trying to find a product I could sell by mail order. Much more difficult than at first thought.

The ECDR was tricky to market, as it is non-integrated with dispensing.
My wisdom on the subject is...
Better to avoid any form of "physical product", ie one that you have to keep stock of.
Downloadable software funded by donation, or with 'limited functionality' with a fee to activate fully is probably a good model for the internet.
I know someone who used to sell software for pharmacy by mail order in the days of DOS 6.22. It was on the internet as well, but in the really early days before everyone had a connection. (Days of the 1440 modem etc).
Where am I?; In the Pharmacy.
Who are you?; The new Number 2.
Who is number 1?; You are number 6.
    What do you want?;..................
