ProScript PMR system: help needed!

Proscript client/slave can be slow as accessing server/master over ethernet.
For some reason they don't like to tell you that it can be sped up dramatically by using a GigaByte Switch between the two PMR computers with a single link to the Cisco router.
Sorted our problem out for not very much money.
