Default Hydrogen Peroxide Solution

Does anyone remember the volume - percentage of the usual solutions available OTC?

I believe 6% is 20 volume and 9% is 30 volume.

Thanks.
You would think our PMR suppliers would put this information on their product files.
It can be hard to find - some of the strengths aren't even in Martindale.

And a 10 vol 3% was also available.

Always thought you were daft to buy that one as all the bottles had the same uses listed with different water to H202 ratios.

Much the same price so better to buy 30 vol and dilut down to a greater quantity.

It looks like there's a linear relationship between vol and percent.
You could assume that - but sometimes in this business it isn't.

I'll ask our PMR supplier to put this info on their system then its always on hand.

Well of course, you could always try to buy 100 vol as did some of our asian friends. Used in hairdressing salons.
