Default How many receptors do you know?

alpha1
alpha2

beta1 ------when it is actived the heart beats more powerful
beta2 ------when it is actived Vascular expans.

5-HT1
5-HT2
5-HT3

Opioid receptors —— Morphine's target
...
...
and so on

There are so many receptors in body. Especially in the brian.
Could anyone tell me more detail?

Yes...there are certainly a lot of receptors!! I can't help explain all of them but I always found 'Pharmacology' by Rang, Dale and Ritter very helpful.

I've always had a particular interest in the serotonin (5HT) receptors and this document provides an overview for them Serotonin--a detailed overview
