NHS24 doctor phones in to say someone will be in because they need X amount of Drug Y - not necessarily a CD. A staff nurse also came in with the patient and confirmed his details, checked her ID and also confirmed he was on this drug. Was I right in giving this out, despite there being no prescription present? Records have been kept in relevant book, but was rushed for time and patient was waiting, so was pushed for time to make a decision.

. However, I did get the details of the patients usual Dr and Surgery which is just up the road. Getting quite worried and only made a decision because otherwise the patient would have no medication.
