Hi guys
Can anyone give me some info on Provera 10mg tablets. I've had a look through the BNF. But i'm looking for info on possible side effects.

Side effect information is listed in BNF?!

They are listed in the BNF. I was wondering if there were any other possible side effects not listed that anyone has heard of or knows about? I have an old copy of the BNF.

Try BNF online for the most upto date edition, I would think the BNF would show an accurate list of all side effects

If you are going to do a cpd number on it I would contact the manufacturer, or quicker might be a medicines information pharmacist: phone numbers on inside cover of BNF. They are brilliant at getting up to date stuff.

I think i'm getting mixed up with something else but I thought i'd read somewhere that Provera may cause DVT!!!! Is this a possibility or am I going mad??

It's not likely. DVT is normally associated with estrogens not progestogens. There may be a risk with extremely high doses but not with 10mg.
