Zoladex LA 10.8mg- for women?

Has anyone ever heard of this strength of Zoladex being used in women? I've been presented with a Rx for just that, for the 3rd time since Xmas (2 of them were for the same patient!), and every time, I have returned them to the Surgery with a note asking for a change to the 3.6mg-one, but today the receptionist 'phoned to ask me "what was wrong with this Rx? [for the 10.8mg inj.]; She's had it before!"
Am I missing something?
Is there some new unlicensed use?
I'm even seriously considering asking the surgery whether this patient might have been male previously, and has undergone "Gender Reassignment"....

It's probably being used for breast cancer or endometriosis. The prescriber probably thought it would be more convenient than the 3.6mg injection, despite it being unlicensed.

Off-topic slightly, but would a female ever be prescribed Proscar/finasteride?

I know the 'right' answer is no, but, unlicensed indication I've never heard of or transexual?

It's occasionally used for hirsutism. Finasteride generally causes few adverse effects in women but the risk of damage to a male fetus limits its use in women who could become pregnant.

A Pharmacist I know has had that strength twice now as she is having severe "ladies problems".....it works for a short time but soon becomes ineffective..
