A SCHOLARSHIP: Msc IN CLINICAL PHARMACY

Hi everyone here,

I am a new member here in the forum, and i really need your help !

I am an egyptian pharmacist,
I have already registered for Msc degree in CLINICAL PHARMACY DEP. in my college,
but our college is not an international college so i fear that all my efforts in this study will be useless for joining a good job.

i decided to look for Msc scholarship in Europe (preferred in UK) or USA,
i found perfect colleges in UK as:
LONDON UNIVERSITY,
NOTTINGHAM UNIVERSITY.

but i don't know how to get any scholarship at neither them nor any university.

please help me, because i am so interested in this field

When Egypt threw the British out of Egypt, they also threw out some of the benefits of scholarships etc. If you are independent, then you are and cannot expect financial help except from your own govnmt.

You could lobby for Egypt to join the EU and gain access to EU funds.

do u think that EGYPT must be a slave under UK control to gain your respect?

and suppose it was, do you think that egyptians would have the same rights as UK citizens?

So what do you think I think? I just stated what unfortunately is a fact of life.
I did not praise your history or condemn it. In another post you will see that I praised Egypt for her contributions in food and pharmacy.

Sometimes I am a bit abrasive, for that I apologise. Nevertheless in my travels I have seen much misery post casting off the shackles of imperialism.

An example nearer to Africa is Cape Verde which joined with Angola in seeking freedom from Portugal. Unfortunately, this has meant that the islands suffer from lack of investment. Those former colonies which were able to actually become part of the original colonial power but look after their own affairs have enjoyed considerable EU largesse, Eg Madeira, Martinique and Guadualoupe.

The Uk acted shamefully in not welcoming Malta when they wished to become part of England and were driven for a time into the arms of Libya.

We all do things and say things we regret later.

You are looking for someone to fund your studies in UK. I wish you well in your search. Somewhere there will be a society devoted to promoting good relations between Egypt and England after Suez. A first try could be the british consul or embassy.

why do we always get this response from all the Egyptians pharmacists? we try to help them, they reply with a rude comments, and they go on assuming things than never been said.

in fact John, i am glad Egypt is not in the EU and i am against your suggestion to lobby Egypt to get into the EU..... let them sort their own problems 1st in Egypt, a country with 80 millions population, the 2nd receiving money from the USA, and you go for a visit you find kids begging for money, and more than 50% of the people have one form of hepatitis( research if you do not believe me)....etc let me stop here!

have you noticed we are getting Egyptian pharmacists asking joining the forum everyday asking about work in the UK...etc probably someone has been advertising for this forum in Egypt or i do not know the actual reason.

i have nothing against anyone, i myself not English or British ( before the guy accuse me for being racist against foreigners’ you know the typical argument to gain attention and make you feel sorry), but i really hate it when someone come looking for help, and once we advice him he throw on us some of what i might call a ' hate speech'. why people no longer appreciate any advice or help, and think we habe obligation to solve all their problems!.

If the moderators feel my post sounds a bit offensive, feel free to remove it, however as a member of this forum, for the past 10 months or so, I just made a general comment on the attitude of someone looking for help/answer.
And I stand up for every single word I said, not regretting anything.
the guy talking about being tolerant, but i see no tolerance in his rude post. on another thread i told someone ' please do not cry how bad things in your country, give us the good bits' and he directed some rude posts toward me..............

tough luck, but this is not my problem. nothing is useless, at least you gained a degree, people change careers everyday.... maybe it would be useless in Europe, but i am sure it is not in Egypt.

Thanks Raoul, actually lost some sleep last night worrying if I had gone too far.
However anodyne comments do not really do anything, a dose of realism stirs things up.

Egypt has so much going for it, canal, fantastic tourist attractions, wonderful climate (well to us downcast northerners). It seems a pity that that so many wish to leave it. We all know the true problem for so much of the world. Too many people and not enough land, water etc to support them.
