Exclamation Lloyds free diabetes testing pharmacists.

I am doing a talk on diabetes testing in the comunity. Got in touch with LLoyds HQ and they gave me a referral rate of 10% during their massive campaign they were doing for free a couple of years back.

What I would like to know is, what was the cut of point in mmmoles/L that a patient has to be above to warrant a referral to their GP. Of course I am assuming the tests would have to be a fasting test.

Also, how would so called boderline readings of between 6 and 7 on a fastng would be treated ??

Lastly, would you say 10% is an accurate figure.

Thanks in advance for your rsponse.

Really looking for a reading around 5 unless recently eaten when 6 would be acceptable. we say come back tomorrow before having any food.
