    cetirizine dose

    had a prescription today for cetirizine tablets dose: take one tablet upto four times a day. surgery closed and when i spoke tio the patient she said that the doctor had told her to take upto four tablets daily. told her that this was not recommended and that she could maybe take one tablet twice a day.
    has anyone seen this dose before or any other suggestions on what i could have done?

    Never seen it but I have seen twice a day or 2 diff antihists each once a day. Maybe the GP got mixed up with chlorpheniramine?
