thanx jef,it seems to be going really well, hypnotherapist explained its all a case of teaching your brain to reject old habits and send your sub-consious positive habits,so far im almost there.
grant me the serenity? i tried AA,im of the opinion all that you are doing is swapping one addiction for another .if it helps some ,fine.

Well done - I really do hope it works for you.

    grant me the serenity?
Just wanted to see if you (or anyone else) made the connection - probably evil of me - but no-one's perfect - least of all me.

I wanted to know your thoughts, whether it is one of those things that is, as everyone tells me, just a dirty drug, or whether it can offer a valuable experience. I do not plan to make it a habit, purely a one time thing. Am I being immature about the dangers, though I understand it is a dangerous thing? Many thanks in advance

Do you honestly expect someone who is trying to beat his addiction help you start one ? If you are serious about this i suggest getting some counselling, talk to family or friends, but there are reasons why these drugs are not freely available for everyone to try and "experience".

Why don't you experience free fall by base jumping. Tell the press and get on TV.
I could suggest lots of similar things that you ought to experience--once.

You are asking in the wrong place - as registered pharmacists we could get into serious trouble for doing anything other than following the party line.

The idea of some drugs as a valuable experience isn't a new one

e.g. Timothy Leary - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The use of drugs as an artistic muse? Well I don't think even Tony could deny the influence on music - but he'll temper it with a long list of dead rock stars - none of which wanted to make it a habit.

Oh and yes you are being immature about the dangers.

Reminds me of thte call I took from USA when working at Roche. The caller did not seem to understand why we would not supply him with morphine.

More poignant was the appeal from a maternity unit in Nigeria for Pethidine as all they had was aspirin.
