| I have a question from one of my NVQ 3 modules. It says: Why is fludrocortisone needed in addition to hydrocortisone in addisons disease? I've said that it's used to replace aldosterone. Is this right/wrong? If it's right why don't people suffering from addisons produce enough aldosterone? ![]() |
