Long time use of Midazolam Injection

I found that the longer and more it used, the worse its Pharmacodynamics were.

Sig. Midazolam Injection 50mg
N.S. to 50ml
ivpmp 5ml/h

Why it happend?

Not only Midazolam, but Nitroglycerin (it's used to down the blood pressure, Also 50mg NS to 50ml ivpmp)
