Nvq 3 module 7 drug interaction

hey guys im just working on module 7 and need help on one of the questions. I need to know for each drug two MAJOR DRUG INTERACTIONS for the following drugs: simvastatin 40mg, warfarin 3mg, propranalol 80mg and captopril 25mg. I have checked the BNF but cant find much. Please help

I don't believe that. Appendix 1 lists the major interactions of the majority of regularly used drugs. Warfarin in particular has tons, check under coumarin anticoagulants. Interactions with a black dot are deemed more significant i.e will require intervention.

It's all in Appendix 1, it looks a bit daunting but if you try to pick out the ones you recognise it's easier. It's just quite a long question to do, you have to look up the terms that are used to get a full understanding of it. Or you could just do a straight copy, but that's not as good.

You have not posted a question so what answer do you want ? If you've got a query relating to drug interactions then search the BNF as has been stated several times on here.

If you need help understanding we can help but we can't just tell you an answer, that wouldn't be helpful. Can you find Appendix 1 in the BNF?
