is it right for a pharmacist to withold information from a patient?
please answer my question.
I am a third year pahrmacy student. i was asked this question 'is it right for a pharmacist to withold information from a patient?'. i am thinking a pharmacist cannot withold information from a patient unless it is harmful to the patient.
under what circumstances would it be harmful?
I have thought that if a patient wanted to commit suicide and asked you to suggest the best drug for that, you would not tell them. But...in what other circumstance would a pharmacist withold information from a patient?
please, please help...your help would be greatly appreciated. i have reaserched for several hours, but could not find what i was looking for. thank you.

Eg.
1) Discussion of their condition.
2) Their daughter came in for EHS.
3) Their son presented a script for anti virals for HIV.
4) The Dr is about to appear before the GMC for gross misconduct.
5) The Husband had a script for Viagara.
That's for starters.
