methadone supply
elementary question here, but if a patient misses a day of methadone and the script does not specify that the total amount less the missed amount may be given out, does that mean subsequent requests for the rest of the script are now invalid?

It's a good idea to check with the CDT what the prescriber's intention is. The lack of suitable wording to allow the supply (less a deduction) is a common technical error, and hence can be filled in by the pharmacist, IMO.
