flu...?

hi,

whats the best medicine for flu (cough,blocked nose,blocked ear ,sore throat..)to me it doesnt look like a flu .still i ve tried lemsip and one my friends recommended benylin4 and i got convinced so i bought it. but i didnt get any better after using it for 3 days, wen my friend took 2 tablets and she got better the next day.i ve tried just about everthing and i have had the flu or whatever you want to call it for 3 weeks now.It really does no good when i have a presentation on monday and really important stuff coming up.

so what do you recommend i take?

radio 4 on very low, keep warm, and sleep. Paracetamol useful, water essential.
No presentations or work.

If you can get up and work, it's not flu, probably.

Why would you want to risk giving an awful presentation when it would be better for you to be in bed anyway?

because i ve tried everything ,i have missed 2 weeks of uni...doing exactly what you said..but i didnt get any better.i wish it was that simple!i always keep warm and i drink lots of fluid,so i dont know what to take now

i dont want to overload my self with drugs.

some kind of magic medicine out there???that i havnt already tried.

Why do you think it's not flu ? If it was proper flu you wouldn't be able to type on the forums . Prob just a common cold which is taking time to go away. If you believe the hype you could throw away a crisp £5 note on Olbas powerflu with vit c. Otherwise it's a shot of Glenfidditch in a cuppa and off to bed.
