Pharmaceutical science with management studies

Hello Everyone,
Its my first post on the pharmacy forum. Glad to have a chance to talk with pharmacists of UK.

I have completed B.Pharm in India and now i am going to join Kingstone uni for PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCE WITH MANAGEMENT STUDIES for postgraduation(MSc). After completion of my post-graduation I am interested to go for registration(OSPAP) to practice as a registered pharmacist at UK. If I join PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCE WITH MANAGEMENT STUDIES, would it be beneficial for my aim? Your prompt answer will be helpful to my career.

First thing first. Be clear on why you want to come to the UK and how much will it cost. Before chosing to do any study, find out as to, what that course has in future for you in the UK. Read posts related to Immigration issues faced by international students currently in UK.

Secondly, if you want to do the OSPAP, then you can do it with your B. Pharm from India. You dont need to do any other course in UK before you take up OSPAP.

Hi Raj,

I do agree with Shan, consider everything before taking such a huge step.

However I think B. pharmacy degree holders who passed out after 2003 or 2004 from Indian Universities are not eligible for OSPAP. They have to finish additional 2 years of Pharmaceutical studies. This might be the case for NAPLEX. But double check with RPSGB first.

Yes, if they are OK with that, you don't need to go for MSc. Apply for OSPAP stright away.
