    Weekend work (voluntary or paid) Newcastle area

    Do you know of any pharmacies that would be willing to take on a voluntary worker during weekends in the Newcastle area?

    I am a mature student chap (31), and I have no previous experience of pharmacy. I will be starting MPharm this September at Sunderland.

    Any advice will be appreciated.

    An unpaid worker? They will bite your arm off! Try an independent first. Upstart may well be near you.

    I agree - Contact the smaller companies - Turn up and ask how to contact who would be in charge of work experience.
    You will get both your hands snapped off if you want to work for free!

    I think Norchem Healthcare still have a few shops in the Newcastle area, they would probably offer you some experience.
