    Quanitity shorthand confusion

    If you get a prescription for an oral suspension for example and it says 20mg q.d.s (1/52).
    What does the (1/52) mean?

    1/52 = One Week

    7/7 = one week

    1/12 = one month

    5/7 = five days.
