    Transferring to Canada

Hey, I'm a second year pharmacy student at Cardiff University. I'm just wondering if anyone out there, knows what the deal is if you want to practice in Canada after registration, whether it would be worth trying to do pre reg out there, if that's an option. Or whether i have to do pre reg here, and become member of the RPSGB and then can move out there and have to convert my degree? any ideas?

    thankyou

Pick a Canadian state and google state pharmacy board for registration requirements. Not sure if overseas pre reg recognised here though.
Check with reg dept at pharm socty.

Sorry, I don't even remember asking this question. In all honesty I didn't realise I was a member here until today. Thank you Johnep for your advice. I have since found out about the Evaluating Exam if intending to move out there once a qualified pharmacist. But haven't looked into it much since. Though there are some very useful threads on the forum now for any others intending to practice out there.
