If you were me you woudn't say that this is monotonous. Every one has his/her own problems and looks for an answer. If that bothers you or others you should say that and everybody will stop sending messages like mine. Anyway I appologies for this monotonous message.

Fair enough. You need to contact the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (Rpsgb.org: Contact us) about the legal issues. I know Romania is part of the EU, but in the back of my mind there's something special about working requirements. As regards employment, if you want to work in community, then contact one of the big chains (Alliance-Boots, Lloyds, National Co-op, Rowlands). If you are interested in hospital, then decide roughly where in UK you would like to go, find a hospital (or hospitals) in that area and contact the pharmacy dept direct.

Oh dear, sorry if I was judged a bit abrasive, it is just that we are getting these posts re working in the UK every week. If we stuck the info into say, a thread re 'working' in the UK , then enquirers could go staight there. Apart from the USA it appears that we are the only pharmacy utopia. johnep

I need some advice on being a pharmacist in the Republic of Ireland in terms of how to get to know the pharmacy law and what is the best way to find a job. If anyone has experience or currently working in the Rep of Ireland, would appreciate their advice.
