    Music for phillistines

I consider I am one of these. Never bought a record or CD for myself (Once did buy Queen to use a track in a sales presentation). Never owned a stereo.
However, my wife is the opposite and is a great fan of Classic FM.

Yesterday played a track which did resound through my brain all day:

    Scottish Fantasy by Bruch.

I must be getting sentimental in my old age.

I don't know what I'd do without music, studied it throughout education, played various instruments, and I go to gigs and concerts whenever I can afford to (foo fighter@milton keynes bowl, 2nd July!!!!). Listening to my music makes the walk to uni seems quicker too!

You know you wanna be a rockstar johnep, deep down.

Modern music owes alot to its heretige, i'm grateful that I got to learn about the history of music as it has contributed so much to the industry.

I wonder what my children (when I get round to sorting that out!) will listen to...

I love music. Couldn't imagine living without.

As I tend to whistle and sing at work, there are those who wish I did live without!

The worst part of commuting by motorbike is that my car is one of the few places I can get some time to listen uninterupted. (Yes, I know I could use an MP3 and earphones under my lid, but I like hearing the traffic around me for my own safety).

I could not do a long journey without music to listen to. I find that having it on loud keeps my concentration up. In fact I listen to music at work when I am doing data entry! Nothing in the staff code of conduct that says I can't???
