Question Dear Auntie Admin, I have a problem with my home life ......................

.....I came home today and my wife pointed out that certain things that ought to have been done around the house had not been done, and certain things that ought not to have been done, had, in fact, been done.

I pointed out to her that actually I had freed her from all that domestic drudgery a few years ago when we came to a new marriage agreement. Under that, she was appointed as the Responsible Housewife. So actually, the things that hadn't been done were really her responsibility, no matter whose job she said they should be to do.

She said that, now that I mentioned it, there were a few things about that agreement she wasn't happy with. First of all, she said that the standard SOPping list was just imposiible to follow. With me around, for instance, how could anyone be expected to smile all the time. And that bit about the husband always being right just made no sense - unless you read it in a wider and more sinister context.

And the subsidiary SOPiing lists didn't do much better. She said that she could just about cope with the Cook in the Kitchen one, and the Lady in the Lounge was OK too, but that no-one could expect her to do the other one for the emoluments on offer.

I helpfully pointed out that she was just getting herself into more trouble. That if she was really saying that the work was impossible, then she must have broken lots of the rules already, and we'd better have a look at that. She had the cheek to tell me that I hadnt signed the Taking out the Garbage to the Correct Bin one, and I said that really her failure to keep up with the paperwork just showed that she needed to readdress her suitability for the important position she occupied.

Was it reasonable for her to kick me in the nuts at this point?
    ....just my opinion

Not sure if you would be happy about the 2 hour absence so she could carry out duties off-site.
Where am I?; In the Pharmacy.
Who are you?; The new Number 2.
Who is number 1?; You are number 6.
    What do you want?;..................
