    Mobile phone upgrade

So i'm in the position of being able to upgrade my mobile phone...and obviosuly i don't want to have to pay for it. I've always been a sony ericsson man, and they haven't let me down yet..

There seems to be so many different phone out there...any ideas??

Oh and i should point out i'm not an apple fan..so iphone is out the question! I'm turning towards a touch screen phone..but its such a chore to trawl through all the websites and look at them all...so i'm hoping you'll help me out! You never know i may even text you if i go with the phone you think is the best......!

I initially hated the iphone 4 but with time I have come to the conclusion it is bloody brilliant! If you really don't want an iPhone, then blackberries or one of Nokias smartphones would be a good alternative.

I used to be a sony ericsson man as well. My last 2 phones were both sony ericssons. Switched to the blackberry bold 9700 in sep and I'm pretty happy with it. Very easy to use although admittedly bluetooth was a pain to get set up. Ok it doesn't have as many apps as the iphone but I couldn't care less. The blackberry torch is the latest bb which is touchscreen but I don't know much about it. If you're interested in a touchscreen I would recommend taking a look at the htc desire.

dont bother with the iphone. I've got one and it spends more time crashed than it does working. Lady_Dispensalot has a HTC wildfire (smaller version of the desire with a slower processor) which i am very jealous of

I've always been a Sony Ericsson girl but my new phone is a HTC Desire and I absolutely love it! I would strongly recommend it as being way above the IPhone4 or the Blackberry. In fact my cousin's wife was given a Blackberry two days \go as an early Christmas present and is already wanting to sell it and get an HTC Desire like her husband has.

All depends on what you want from your phone - if you want touchscreen, apps etc go for a htc. There's a massive choice of smartphones out there - bound to be one for you

i'm quite a fickle person, and rubbish at making decisions...so whichever one i get i knwo it will be the wrong one as i'll want a different phone the moment i choose one lol

think it will be a job for the new year

    Re: Mobile phone upgrade

That is the problem with mobile phones, once you've bought one you've liked, other models come out which are better in some way or offer more for your money.
