    David Cameron - Turkey

Why is Cameron so keen for Turkey to join EU? I realise the multinationals want them to join as it keeps wages down, and the multinationals have more power than any government. I think people in power are concerned China and India are doing so well and realise that we wont be able to compete. I've also read that the conservatives want North Africa to join the EU in the near future. If Turkey does join I think I would move to USA. They seem to dictate what our government does.

USA is keen for Turkey to be in EU because of their role in NATO/Afganistan. Cameron is just back from Washington.
    Go figure.
