Change One Letter Game

HI friends
I come up with a word, and the next person changes or adds or takes away a letter and makes another word, and the next person repeats.

For example:
Cat
Next person replies Bat


The first word is hair

OK, but to make it a bit more interesting, what about having to include the two words in the same sentence, which has to make sense........

e.g. The dog left its hair on the chair.

I stood on the chair while drinking a cup of chai

[womble]

The CHAI was being served by a wrinkly old CHAP

[roper]

I had a long CHAT with the wrinkly old CHAP.

[Nik]

After the long CHAT I put on my COAT

[roper]

I put on my COAT and went to get some COAL.

The COAL reminded me of my GOAL of 4 murs today

Rooney's GOAL today was magnificent - Gabby LOGAN will tell you that tonight (if she's on )
